Firefighters in Penticton rescued a deer from the icy waters of Okanagan Lake on Thursday morning.
The rescue occurred at Marina Method Seashore, with the deer round 50 metres off-shore, caught on skinny ice.

The deer was introduced safely again to land, and finally ran off.
“Our firefighters are educated in a number of disciplines, and wish to remind the general public that ice ranges usually are not secure proper now,” stated the Penticton Skilled Fireplace Fighters
“Please remind children to remain off the ice, and hold pets on a leash close to the water.”
